Dawn's yoga journey began in 1999 when she bought a Rodney Yee VHS yoga videotape. She made a habit of practicing yoga every day to bring fitness and stress relief to the ups and downs of daily life. After gaining momentum and comfort in her practice, Dawn met her match at a local gym a few years later. Her poses were on public display-meaning for the first time: with hands-on adjustments, cues, and practicing openly in front of others. After conquering this obstacle, she was led to seek out a permanent yoga studio and a place she could use as a hideout to put her restless mind on the back burner for an hour or two.

I am a performance consultant who has helped one of my client organizations reduce turnover from 25% to just under 5%. My specialty is helping business owners and executives overcome the two biggest obstacles to employee engagement. Lower employee engagement causes involuntary turnover, lower revenues, and decreased productivity. The primary obstacles to engagement are a lack of job fit and inadequate competency skill among your leadership team. Productivity especially depends on front-line supervisors and managers who have the skill to engage, motivate, and properly reward employees. Consider the words of an employee who was asked why they were leaving a job for another one, "The job sucks, my manager sucked, I don't need this." Notice they didn't say anything about leaving for more money. If you fail to put people in positions where they can do their best work and give them competent skilled managers they will rise to the occasion. Without these catalysts, they will likely move on. I am an Adult Education expert and certified expert trainer in the use of a wide variety of psychometric assessments. I help companies laser focus on the exact competencies and skills their leaders need to improve through the use of worlds most reliable and accurate surveys and assessments. We use a number of assessment and interviewing techniques to help our clients very accurately match candidates into the right positions the first time.

Over 95% that participate are at the Vice President or Director level and over 100 joined the class within 3 weeks of the launch date. The reason? Elizabeth is just like them. In 2020, Forbes invited Elizabeth to join the Forbes Women Forum during COVID19, so she could weigh in on leadership issues. What makes Elizabeth highly unique is she is just like the executives she works with, coaches, and serves. She, herself, still works in Corporate America, for one of the biggest Fintech companies on the planet. She knows what it is like to try to find that ten minutes to re-focus, re-calibrate and calm down so she can bring that energy back into her work. Elizabeth's vision is to provide a place for the executive to explore mindfulness and meditation - on their own terms in a format and setting they could digest. What makes her the ideal teacher is she is just like them - she works, drinks a lot of Starbucks, shows up for meetings five minutes early and is the top producer in the company and still maintains a daily meditation practice, along with a marriage. Elizabeth's specialty is helping clients land the promotion, find a new job or simply bring their leadership game to the next level. Elizabeth knows why someone is hired, fired of promote before they do. When she isn't coaching the Who's Who to help them up their game in leadership, Elizabeth can be found on the back of her husband's Harley Davidson motorcycle or twisting in the yoga studio for hours on end.
Barbi is a Spiritual Teacher, Public Speaker, and Author. She trained as an Intuitive Medium using The Awakened Mind Technique, which was recently featured in Netflix’s 2021 “Surviving Death” documentary. As a child, Barbi saw the world unlike most adults and children. She instinctively felt the interconnectedness we all share and questioned the traditional ways of teaching and thinking that were presented to her. Her inner guidance told her there was more to the world than what her physical eyes could see. And this guidance led her to a lifelong search for a bridge between the physical and non-physical worlds. Barbi now uses what she has learned to aid others in their journeys by connecting them to loved ones who have passed, teaching them to tap into their own intuition, live consciously, learn to be present through meditation, and create the life they have always wanted by finding their True Self. She offers individual sessions, group workshops, and spiritual retreats. Barbi also offers online gatherings and teachings free of charge, owing her life’s blessings to what was given to her freely by The Universe. For more information on how you can work with Barbi to connect with your Universal needs, email her at [email protected]

recruitersnation was founded in August 2008 by a small group of recruiters in Atlanta looking to network in an unconventional, yet productive and fun way. Each month or so following that day, a group of recruiters would get together in various locations around the city to meet, network, socialize, console each other, exchange leads, and discuss the present and future of recruiting. These recruiters came from all areas of business, both third party and corporate, both experienced and brand new with one thing in common…a love of the industry and a thirst to help and serve each other through networking. In 2011, RecruitersNation.org was launched as an online extension of this fast growing community and serves as the platform for all things RecruitersNation. Our mission is simple…to continue to bring the Nation's Recruiters together. When people come together in some form of community, great things happen…ideas are born, relationships are formed and cemented, and business gets started. So the purpose of atlantarecruiters and atlrecruiters.org is to be the organizaiton and format to make that happen. Our values are also simple…to always serve the recruiting community of Atlanta with compassion and integrity. So in short..come join us and be a part of a unifying movement to bring Atlanta’s recruiters together and let’s see what we can make happen…together.
