Come join us and learn the ancient Chinese practice of Qigong & Tai Chi! This is a hybrid class that includes learning both Qigong and Tai Chi. Each class includes fundamental Tai Chi & Qigong movements, breath techniques and mild stretches. This class is excellent for anyone looking to obtain optimal health and expanding lung capacity, as well as those recovering from illness, injury or surgery. What is Qigong & Tai Chi? These are ancient Chinese practices that are easy to learn and practice. Some of the benefits include reducing stress and anxiety, boosting the immune system, decreasing pain and lowering blood pressure. The practice involves slow movements with long, slow breaths. The breath techniques help to improve lung capacity over time and can reverse respiratory concerns.

Tuesday - Restorative Yoga Friday - Gentle/Chair Yoga Restorative Yoga This class is designed to reduce stress and anxiety while increasing your flexibility. The postures are passive in nature and done on the floor (seated, lying on your back or stomach). Gentle/Chair Yoga This class includes gentle yoga poses that help increase flexibility and your range of motion. Poses will be done either sitting in a chair or on a mat, there will also be some standing poses.

Yin yoga is a slow, relaxing experience that allows your mind and body to let go of your day. All levels will enjoy this quiet escape.
Many of us are aware, to some degree, of the seven main chakras. What many people don't know, however, is how to feel into the chakras, or what to look for when they do. This is a very informative beginner's class of how to do just that. I'll help guide you on how to feel the subtle energy of the chakras. Here's what'll be taught: * the name, location, color, and basic information of each chakra * the difference between the front and back sides * how to feel the subtle energy of the chakras * how to feel or look for spin, color, blockages, etc. * how to balance the chakras using energy work and visualization * the elements associated with the chakras for an easy way to "see" what state they are in If you've been interested in the chakra system or energy work, join us. Once you've tapped into this information - your own energy body - you'll be able to use it for the rest of your life. You don't have to be a reiki practitioner or energy worker to benefit from this insight. If, however, you are a reiki practitioner who never learned how to feel into the chakras, this class can be very beneficial for you and your clients.
