A gentle class. Bring a strap and a block if you have them. A strap can even be a bathrobe belt, etc. I will lead gentle stretches with the purpose of increasing flexibility and mindfulness, and decreases tension and stress. Modifications will be offered for those with injuries and for those wanted a slightly deeper version of each stretch. Come as you are - camera on or off - your choice!

Of course you've heard about yoga, but all those videos you see on YouTube and Instagram are beyond your range of motion and flexibility. Yoga is not just for the young and uber-flexible, it's for everyone, including people who are stiff, tight, tired, and burnt out. Much has been written about the amazing power of the subconscious mind. A lot of it can be traced back to Carl Jung, who actually referred to it as the unconscious. Jung has also been instrumental in formalizing our understanding of Shadow; in fact he famously claimed that the entire unconscious was effectively Shadow. Breathe, Move & Energize! 13 Classes are included in this series! All classes are recorded -- watch anywhere anytime! Ready to reduce stress and energize your body? Join me every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the month of June. All classes are designed to reduce stress using the breath with dynamic movements and poses to release tension and energize the body. Each class is different but equally energizing. We will begin with a traditional flow such as sun salutations and move into salutation variations and standing flows. Poses will combine strength, flexibility and balance. Classes will also include floor exercises and a final relaxing guided meditation. All levels of experience are welcome.

Each class will be different and will focus on breath techniques, mild stretches and learning several qigong movements. This class is excellent for anyone recovering from illness, injury or surgery. It is also an excellent exercise for those looking to obtain optimal health. What is Qigong? It is an ancient Chinese practice that is easy to learn and practice. Some of the benefits of Qigong include reducing stress and anxiety, boosting the immune system, decreasing pain and lowering blood pressure. The practice involves slow movements with long, slow breaths. The breath techniques help to improve lung capacity over time and can reverse respiratory concerns.

Tuesday - Restorative/Yin Yoga Friday - Gentle Yoga Restorative/Yin Yoga This class is designed to reduce stress and anxiety while increasing your flexibility. The postures are passive in nature and done on the floor (seated, lying on your back or stomach). Gentle Yoga This class includes gentle yoga poses that help increase flexibility and your range of motion. Poses will be done either sitting in a chair or on a mat, there will also be some standing poses.
