Join me, Heather Says, HoopYogini Master Trainer, for the HoopYogini Spinal Awakening Series! "This program is designed to tone your core, improve your posture and reduce back pain. Learn about the importance of the spine as the conduit that nourishes all other body systems. Cultivate Centered Pose, your place of inner power, strength and resilience. Integrate each pose into a flowing dance. Establish a healthy habit and the ability to show up for your personal well-being and empowerment." - We will move our spine in all directions, center ourselves and relax the mind, all while using the hoop as a tool for this true hatha yoga practice. We will bring the hoops onto our body, relearning that fun workout we did as kids. You do NOT need ANY hula hoop or yoga experience for this class, but you will need an adult sized hula hoop. Yoga For All is exactly what it sounds like. It doesn't matter if you're just starting or a seasoned yogi, it doesn't matter what size you are, your age, this class is about coming as you are, and using what you have. We will be gentle, we will give options. What do you need? A mat, a wall, a couple of yoga blocks (available at any big box store or online), and a blanket. Have questions, concerns? Message me!
This HoopYogini practice will help you start your new moon with intention to self, shining your inner light. Treat yourself with this yoga class using a hula hoop as a prop. The new moon: This happens when the sun and moon come into alignment; when the yang (masculine) energy of the sun merges with the yin (feminine) essence of the moon. During this phase, the moon and the sun conjoin in the sky (align at the same degree astrologically). When this happens, energetically, it's time to get still and plant new seeds of desire. During a new moon, it serves us to breathe new life into any area of stagnation or any place in your life where you would like to impact positive change. Let's breathe into life together!
