A strap can even be a bathrobe belt, etc. I will lead gentle stretches with the purpose of increasing flexibility and mindfulness, and decreases tension and stress. Modifications will be offered for those with injuries and for those wanted a slightly deeper version of each stretch. Come as you are - camera on or off - your choice!
During this time of uncertainty this kriya is directly working to remove hidden and obvious inner anger. Anger is a powerful emotion that can be transformed and put into action for a more elevated purpose. The meditation is beautiful using the mantra Humee Hum Brahm Hum, there is a song to accompany at the end of the attached playlist. This mantra means "we are we, we are god" we are the generating, organizing, delivering, and destroying energies of the universe. This meditation goes to the heart and helps with effective communication. Leigh Mallis guides and teaches her Wednesday class through the use of pranayama, movement and meditation. Kundalini strengthens the nervous system and boosts the immune system to handle stress in this unprecedented time. Bring your mat, blanket and an open mind to class. The Core Breath Meditation is one of the primary practices of the Realization Process founded by Judith Blackstone. The Realization Process is a direct path to embodied, non-dual awakening. This type of awakening enables us to both experience ourselves as a connected, unified space (Fundamental Consciousness) and at the same time experience a deep sense of our own individuality. It brings a refinement and depth to our experience of being human and enhances the mind, body, and spirit connection within ourselves, with others, and with our environment.
